About Dr Gavin Kemball

Dr Gavin Kemball is an experienced fertility specialist, obstetrician and gynaecologist with a special interest in IVF and general gynaecology. He helps women of all ages with difficult conditions and complex treatments, including irregular menstrual irregularities, painful periods, menopause symptoms and reproductive endocrinology. He has significant expertise in carrying out laparoscopic surgery, colposcopy and hysteroscopic procedures.

After working in IVF clinics and specialist hospitals in the UK, Dr Kemball was offered the position of Director of Womens’ Services at Gosford Hospital in 2008, and he moved his family to Australia.

He had already worked in Sydney in 2001, with Professor Michael Chapman as a Reproductive Fellow, and subsequently applied that experience in his UK fertility clinics.

Advanced specialist training

Dr Kemball originally studied his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at St Mary’s Hospital in London, where he trained under the Royal Gynaecologist and decided to specialise in obstetrics and gynaecology.

He became widely regarded in the UK for his achievements, including running a specialist menopause and endocrinology clinic.

He was awarded membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) in 1997, and received his Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) in 2010. He has also completed his Masters in Reproductive Endocrincology (MSc) at the University of Western Sydney.
